For browsing the web, sure. But if that were the issue I'd just continue to use this pc. I need access to my data, and it's all on ntfs volumes which linux is less than stellar at handling. |

Aranje: NTFS handling should be pretty damn good by now- ntfs-fuse should do any normal thing, and even many of the special/edge cases |

Last time I tried it (only... two years ago) I had massive data loss. ubuntu's whatever (ntfs-3g?) managed to eat the middle out of a bunch of my files copying them. |
