[07:54] I am over a six pack deep and I have almost finished my lastest coding article and software release [07:55] Altered states I find help overcome the tediousness of some tasks [08:11] so this is weird [08:12] i know that my underground-gamer forums was into wayback [08:12] but now wayback will not display anything from underground-gamer.com [08:13] oh [08:13] it was only disallowing wiki before but they disallow / folder now too [08:14] before there site went down [08:15] Yeah robots.txt is a fucking dumb idea. Anyone can change it later and bone all the previous content [08:16] its one thing if it was future content [08:16] also they only change in april this year [08:17] april 25 2013 to be exact [11:56] omf_: What's the article on? :) [11:56] chazchaz: your connection really sucks, you time out like, a lot :) [11:59] ersi, stop smiling :) [12:06] pulling down youtube playlists, I will post the link here when it is up [12:07] youtube-dl -t ? [12:13] does not work [12:13] I found 5 bugs in it [12:14] heh, there's actually a really good Windows based YouTube downloader [12:14] which I spelled out and proved in the article [12:15] Also I never said anything about downloading videos, I said pull down youtube playlists, just the lists [12:15] oh. [12:15] with youtube-dl you would use simulate and url-list [12:15] Think of it from the search angle [12:16] You are pulling in search results from youtube and some are playlists. You have to get all the videos out of the playlists to work with them [12:17] I was looking for music and wanted to get all the videos including playlists and then remove duplicates before listening [12:17] If I liked it then I would keep it [12:18] Just browsing youtube feels like an effort in futility because it has so much stuff [12:19] I do the same thing with search engines. I have programs that filter search results even more before I look at the results [12:20] lol [12:20] most of the time the first result is the one I need, google-fu ftw. [12:22] I tend to filter out between 20-400 sites on each search. When looking for error codes or code it is nice to have all the shit results already gone [12:22] plus some of this stuff isn't on google until page 8 or later [12:25] Plus I do not have to be limited by one page of search results. I can get 100 items at a time [12:25] Search can be better than just plain google or bing or duckduckgo [12:29] well google has the thing to ignore certain sites, I use that to get rid of crap like experts exchange [12:30] http://vimeo.com/59207751 missed this IA documentary [12:33] It is kinda generic content wise because it is just a quick walkthrough and here is what we do. I like the cinematography though, I can tell some effort went into it and it makes the experience better [12:33] I wonder if they would CC it so someone could color correct parts of it [12:38] found this full list of youtube users https://youtube.wikia.com/wiki/List_of_YouTube_users_by_join_date [12:39] o_O [12:57] Neat. [12:59] trying to get more commandn today [13:15] See you in Minneapolis. [13:42] sqlite rocks [13:44] especially FTS [14:29] hmm I wonder why this sauce is so good. Ingredients: 1/4 pound butter... well that was simple :) [16:54] so it looks like i have all g4tv videos [16:54] :-D [17:37] congratulations! ;) [17:55] I feel liked someone here pm'd me this week and then my client crashed and I forgot who it was [17:55] It might have been me [17:58] Someone had a question about Cinemageddon [17:58] I believe it was underscor [20:35] http://arstechnica.com/gaming/2013/06/film-crew-to-dig-up-atari-landfill-site-maybe-score-3-5-million-copies-of-e-t [20:45] physical archiving yeaaah [21:22] 15 old AOL CDs [21:44] Boyfriend got free reign on the card printer at work [21:44] http://imgur.com/lQo1Qyi [21:44] we're such nerds [21:44] if only they were RFID and I could clone my clipper card to mine :c [21:47] lol [21:51] http://i.imgur.com/zjFu9K2.jpg [21:51] mah cat's like "I can haz rubs plz" [21:51] xD [21:53] http://i.imgur.com/Gs1GyMa.jpg "Pleaseeeeeee, comeon, rub meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee" [21:53] hahaha [21:55] awww [22:00] * cmx pats underscor's kitty [22:00] :3 [22:00] I have a card printer [22:00] She loves human contact [22:01] is there some kind of nexus between card printers and furries? [22:01] guy who sold me it is one [22:01] She'll even let you play with her paws or under her arms/legs [22:01] that's unusual [22:01] Uh, they tend to be used at a lot of conventions [22:02] which furries have a lot of [22:02] so maybe? idk [22:02] hmmm [22:02] ok [22:30] imaging old slack CDs (and some other discs) [22:30] should i bother with the AOL discs? [22:36] ofc [22:40] I apparently only have 3 slackware CD releases [22:40] I thought I had more [22:41] Coderjoe, you are looking for me then :P [22:41] which slack versions [22:41] also I will snag those aol disks too [22:42] labels say 96, 3.5, 3.6, 4.0 [22:42] oops. 4 releases [22:43] Already on IA http://archive.org/details/slackware-3.5_release http://archive.org/details/slackware-3.6_release http://archive.org/details/slackware-4.0_release [22:43] Not sure if I have 96 to upload yet or not [22:44] we still need scans of the disk covers [22:44] I don't have any of the inserts or docs [22:44] threw those out at least 4 years ago [22:44] are the tops of the cds anything special? [22:46] http://imgur.com/5buNKV0 [22:47] yep that is worth keeping [22:54] ugh [22:55] 96 disc4 (tsx11.mit.edu archive) doesn't look good :( [22:57] I have a 5CD set of SuSE Linux 6.1 isos [22:57] anyone want rsync/torrent? [23:01] zork anthology on sale http://www.gog.com/gamecard/the_zork_anthology [23:02] Me ivan [23:03] hmm [23:03] 3.5 d1 is bootable [23:03] omf_: sec [23:05] This works out great since I was planning on uploading 300gb today [23:06] use up all your upload on the first of the month? [23:07] nope. My home connection is slow as balls so I take these hard drives to a friends work and hook them up to a 100mbps up and down to do uploads [23:07] The raids are 300gb blocks [23:07] I hook it up, remotely upload and then switch to the next batch on Monday [23:08] I got piles of old drives from a mirror site [23:14] * ivan stabs uTorrent for listdir'ing the torrent directory after it started creating the torrent, including the par2 files as well [23:19] derp moved them in the wrong folder [23:22] omf_: https://ludios.org/tmp/SuSE%20Linux%206.1.torrent [23:22] connect with uTP for ~150KB/s instead of 41KB/s [23:23] this SuSE release has a bunch of cool avi videos, including the flying dragon singing a happy birthday song [23:24] avi? just kidding, .fli's and .mpg's that VLC can't play [23:29] anyone that would be able to help me get my hands on the OST (soundtrack) for 'Nyan Koi', which afaik is an anime series? in FLAC format [23:29] there don't seem to be any torrents on public trackers for it [23:30] (unrelated, considering putting up ads around the neighbourhood saying "gief me your old shareware/AOL/internet/etc CDs!") [23:30] also cc underscor for above question [23:44] joepie91: See pm :)
