09:33 🔗 godane i'm now using my scripts upload web archives
09:33 🔗 godane *to upload
10:05 🔗 godane i'm now going to start download bytejacker
10:05 🔗 godane just know episodes 49 to 53 may not exist at all
10:06 🔗 godane this is based on the youtube account also
13:07 🔗 godane i'm uploading twilight 17
13:14 🔗 BlueMax oh god they made 17 of them?!
13:16 🔗 joepie93 lol
13:16 🔗 joepie93 BlueMax: Twilight is an old Dutch warez CD/DVD series
13:16 🔗 BlueMax oh
13:16 🔗 BlueMax christ
13:16 🔗 BlueMax I am too fucking tired
13:16 🔗 joepie93 godane is uploading them :)
13:16 🔗 joepie93 heh
13:16 🔗 BlueMax should be sleeping
13:16 🔗 joepie93 go sleep!
13:16 🔗 Schbirid dont read twilight until dusk then
13:19 🔗 Schbirid urgh, is retroshare as terrible as my first 10 minutes with it suggest?
13:20 🔗 joepie93 Schbirid: the UI isn't great
13:21 🔗 Schbirid that's the understatement of the day
13:21 🔗 Schbirid hell, it did end up with my account being "m" instead of "m<otherrandomcharacters"
13:22 🔗 joepie93 lol
13:22 🔗 joepie93 Schbirid: the codebase is being split up into library and frontend
13:22 🔗 joepie93 currently
13:22 🔗 Schbirid excellent!
13:22 🔗 godane there is about 100 of them
13:22 🔗 joepie93 so it should be possible in not too long to write a better frontend
13:22 🔗 joepie93 and afaik a curses frontend is also planned
13:22 🔗 godane i have 46 releases of it
13:22 🔗 godane and one dvd
13:22 🔗 joepie93 godane: that's a pretty good score
13:23 🔗 joepie93 :P
13:23 🔗 Schbirid oh, is there no way to run it headless atm?
13:23 🔗 joepie93 Schbirid: well, there is, kinda
13:23 🔗 joepie93 but not really
13:23 🔗 joepie93 well
13:23 🔗 joepie93 unless that changed
13:23 🔗 Schbirid heh
13:23 🔗 joepie93 but it used to basically be
13:23 🔗 godane i didn't get all the dvd release on underground gamer
13:23 🔗 joepie93 "run it on a machine with a GUI, then install retroshare headless on a non-GUI machine and copy over the config after you're done configuring on the GUI machine"
13:23 🔗 joepie93 which is kind of terrible
13:23 🔗 godane i hope the guy releasing them comes back
13:23 🔗 joepie93 godane: any chance you would be able to find them on usenet?
13:24 🔗 godane i don't think so since i will just find the movie
13:26 🔗 joepie93 http://logo.thatsaspicymeatball.com/
13:26 🔗 joepie93 godane: hmm, perhaps if you search for issue numbers?
13:26 🔗 joepie93 ie "twilight 52" and such
13:35 🔗 Schbirid on the topic of terrible software: calibre's ebook viewer alters epub files by just fucking opening them
13:35 🔗 BlueMax didn't even know calibre had an ebook viewer...would've helped me figure out those bloody PDFs I tried to convert into epubs ended up looking like shit
13:37 🔗 Schbirid well, calibre's idiotic "copy all files into its own library because fuck you and your silly personal view on file organisation" made me avoid using it's normal interface.
13:40 🔗 joepie93 Schbirid: there are worse things in Calibre than that
13:40 🔗 BlueMax yeah I noticed that, went to move my epubs and I was like "where the hell are they...oh, you moved them somewhere else"
13:40 🔗 Schbirid joepie93: you mean like the home phoning, suid etc? =(
13:40 🔗 joepie93 Schbirid: have a read here, for example: https://bugs.launchpad.net/calibre/+bug/885027
13:40 🔗 joepie93 cc BlueMax
13:41 🔗 joepie93 the setuid stuff yes
13:41 🔗 joepie93 didn't even know about phoning home
13:41 🔗 BlueMax oh sweet jesus
13:41 🔗 BlueMax *uninstalls calibre*
13:41 🔗 Schbirid :)
13:42 🔗 joepie93 Calibre is a perfect example of the situation "absolutely terrible but no alternatives exist" also being possible in the open-source world
13:42 🔗 Schbirid yeah
13:42 🔗 Schbirid in other news, i installed mpd on my dockstar the other day and it works
13:42 🔗 Schbirid works and rocks
13:43 🔗 joepie93 Schbirid: I successfully packaged an RPM for something!
13:43 🔗 joepie93 on the opensuse build service!
13:43 🔗 joepie93 :p
13:43 🔗 joepie93 and the RPM actually works
13:43 🔗 joepie93 and stuff
13:43 🔗 joepie93 (god packaging is a mess)
13:43 🔗 Schbirid :D
13:44 🔗 joepie93 http://software.opensuse.org/package/prosody?search_term=prosody
13:44 🔗 joepie93 see the 0.9 under unstable packages
13:44 🔗 joepie93 for 12.3
13:44 🔗 joepie93 I needed 0.9 but all existing packages were 0.8
13:44 🔗 Schbirid nice
13:44 🔗 joepie93 so I decided to package it myself
13:44 🔗 joepie93 that only took me a day!
13:44 🔗 joepie93 or two!
13:44 🔗 joepie93 :p
13:45 🔗 joepie93 Prosody has some odd dependencies and requirements
13:45 🔗 joepie93 including requiring lua 5.1 rather than 5.2
14:03 🔗 godane looks like sub-collections are not being show right now
14:04 🔗 godane http://archive.org/details/computersandtechvideos
14:04 🔗 godane or at least not that many
19:13 🔗 godane i'm past 600 episodes of tekzilla daily
19:38 🔗 godane this is funny: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/nbcu-switch-up-esquire-network-624127
19:39 🔗 godane g4 is dead but now not getting changed at all
19:58 🔗 BiggieJon twit.tv would be another good one to archive, since a lot of their old stuff is hosted on aolmusic
20:30 🔗 godane i'm archiving it
20:31 🔗 godane been archiving it for a while
20:35 🔗 godane some audio shows are archived by me already
20:35 🔗 godane like fourcast: https://archive.org/details/twit-fourcast
