[00:00] i honestly dont know [00:01] well, a donation to the EFF or Carl Malamud's group that frees standards and the law would be good second choices [00:01] yeah, that could also work [00:12] i'm starting to upload total guitar cds i found [00:12] from 2010 [00:12] bad news is there in nrg format and it takes very long to covert to iso [00:13] never seen it more then 2 mins before to covert [00:22] godane: can you just upload the nrgs, and then add the iso files as they finish converting? [00:25] i could do that [00:28] also note it was me getting info to covert the nrg file thats taking so long [00:29] uploaded: https://archive.org/details/cdrom-total-guitar-197 [00:32] its 11% info [00:32] 12% info [00:34] 17% info [00:35] cool. it's probably better to have a copy of the nrg in IA as well as the iso anyway… [00:37] I need to get into my CDs… got lots of old driver CDs and such in boxes :) [00:41] i'm the guy thats putting all game.EXE cds up [00:42] alot of them are in nrg format but i was able to covert them to iso alos [00:42] *also [00:42] so both the nrg and iso format are uploaded [00:44] iso is at 39% [00:45] it when from 36% into to 100% then 36% creating iso [00:58] uploaded: https://archive.org/details/cdrom-total-guitar-198 [00:59] i have not even got cd 197 covert yet [01:25] uploaded: https://archive.org/details/cdrom-total-guitar-199 [01:27] so we will be lucky to get cd 197 cd iso [01:28] so looks iat createed a 0 byte file [01:28] so we are not getting iso files for total guitar [01:29] kyan: sorry [01:29] All good :) I'll play with the NRG and see if I can get it to spit an ISO out… [01:30] just know nrg2iso will spit out a file [01:30] its not a iso file from what i can tell [01:31] at least i can't mount it like a iso file [01:31] huh [01:31] http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1829070 [01:32] "Says that audio nrg images cannot be mounted/converted by the proposed programs, but can be handled by with CDemu." [01:32] so if these are audio nrg files then that may why it doesn't covert [02:31] well 197 is done downloading, so time to look at it :) [02:40] I hate how Canonical's Launchpad package system deletes old binary builds... [02:49] disk doesn't grow on trees, you know [02:58] kyan: you can always use the Open Build Service from SuSE- build.openservice.org or openbuildservice.org [02:59] Huh, that's cool. Hadn't run across that before… :) [03:09] it's not nearly as well known as it should be [03:10] SuSE also has a pretty awesome online remixer w/built-in try out feature [03:40] if anyone would like to help oout one of the larger cryptocoins translating their website - see http://worldcoinforum.org/topic/1131-help-support-our-translators/ [03:44] godane, from what I've been reading it's a limitation of the ISO format with regard to multitrack sessions that's causing problems. The image has two sessions: one with 13 audio tracks, and one with one data track. I was able to browse the contents of the image and convert it to a BIN/CUE that K3B seemed to like using a trial version of the Windows program UltraISO in WINE. I hope it's helpful. :) [03:45] (got the tip about using UltraISO from this post http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1516937&p=12476467#post12476467) [04:13] [07:09:01] it's not nearly as well known as it should be [04:13] what isn't? [04:14] SuSE's build.openservice.org and openbuildservice.org [04:14] ahh :) [04:14] * joepie91 <3 OBS [04:15] I used the online remix tool briefly, and that was pretty awesome as well [04:26] dashcloud: suse studio? [04:26] yep- couldn't remember the name [04:26] it's very awesome indeed :) [04:26] only criticism would be the lag in adding packages and such [04:27] it can be a bit unwieldy and buggy because of that [07:11] I convert nrg by mounting with daemon tools and re-ripping with imgburn [07:11] but yeah if there is more than one track you must use bin/cue rather than iso [09:02] whoa, clever stuff: http://www.opus.nl/search_foto.asp?oms=Maxell+Dual+USB&x=0&y=0 [10:58] so do we have a way of grabbing twitter feeds? [10:58] xbox support 1-5 is currently hacked by syrian army [18:43] SketchCow: can i get direct access to this collection: https://archive.org/details/believersvoice [18:43] that way i can put them there and you don't have to move them [18:43] cause there is a ton of that stuff [19:54] Smiley: archive.is can get the most recent page or two [20:38] someone else who figured out yahoo sucks: http://i.imgur.com/OMhgHlp.jpg [22:19] oh they don't block them, they just deliver them to a different recipent with 3 letters in it's name, being s, a and n. << deathy [22:27] SketchCow: so it turns out that g4tv videos don't work on g4tv.com anymore [22:28] i get a 502: Bad Gateway now
