kisspunchWhat's a useful place to list various live, possibly incomplete mirrors I maintain
Alternatively, what's a good way to release snapshot diffs in such a way that other people can archive shut
*shit
I'm trying to avoid the "upload a complete copy of the site to <archive store XXX> every day" problem

namibj1kisspunch: I would choose btrfs send diffs for anything of some size, basically for at least 10MB size per mirror, on average
There are some ready-to-use backup solutions using btrfs send/receive, and you could just basically backup to the mirror you provide or whatever
also, rsync might be what you ask for. Check that first if it fullfills your usecase, after that check out the other thing.

namibj1for very distribute archives check out http://www.bittorrent.org/beps/bep_0046.html which basically allows you to update a torrent without a torrent site or even just a tracker, and usually avoids re-downloads. [19:27]

kisspunchnamibj: Uh the idea is I want to provide downloadable diffs so people can download those daily diffs. btrfs-send is ok, was hoping for something usable by a larger audience and more obviously long-term stable
I already have daily mirroring done on my end
I'm unsure how to publish
I think someone sold me on 'tar with no file diffs, just replacement files'
