if you want to see what it's doing it's in pipeline/archive_bot_plugin.py, ArchiveBotPlugin#handle_result

JAAyipdw: Right. I've read through that a bit and also the seesaw tasks, but I'm still not sure what's going on to be honest. I wonder if it's a bug in RelabelIfAborted or MoveFiles, i.e. that wpull writes a -meta.warc.gz but it just stays in the data/ directory instead of being moved to the upload directory. [10:32]

jrwralso for youtube-dl way doesn't wpull just use the python API it provides
why*
[13:55]
HCross2Somebody2: can I fling you a key for a ArchiveBot instance? [14:09]

PurpleSymIs there a proper (i.e. maintained, tested) WARC writer library with Python 3 support somewhere? [15:31]
JAAwarcio maybe? That's what pywb uses.
https://github.com/webrecorder/warcio#writing-warc-records
[15:38]
PurpleSymLooks promising. I’ll add it to the wiki. [15:47]
......... (idle for 40mn)
Sanquiidea: designated "project leaders". benefit: I'd add add myself as the "project leader" for Webzdarma, and if somebody showed up who cares about it, they'd know to get in touch with me about it. [16:27]
SketchCowWe kind of do that anyway [16:29]
Sanquito be more exact, I propose adding it to the project infobox [16:30]
SketchCowI mean... go for it? Unless there's a factor I'm missing. [16:35]
Sanquiyeeeah we're missing Extension:ParserFunctions sadly
which means there's no way to hide the row if it's present, or prevent an ugly [[User:{{Default}}]]
[16:38]
JAASketchCow: Any thoughts on the ArchiveBot crash log problem? (See yesterday around 21:40 UTC)
I guess my real question is "How does the upload from the archivebot directory to the packs in the collection work?". Does it just throw everything that's in the folder into an item, or is there some filtering based on file extensions or so?
Sanqui: I like that idea.
That also tells us who's to blame if the wiki isn't up to date. :-)
[16:54]
Sanquifine, I'll do it the ugly way
hm I don't like the word "leader"
"project leader"; alternatives: "project lead", "project head", "project manager", "project overseer"
which one do you like
would rather pick the right one because changing it will be pain

SketchCowgodane: For what it's worth, I don't think issuu shouldn't be in the title of magazines uploaded.
Issuu is like saying dropbox or pastebin
[18:16]
godaneok
i used the issuu_author_name to keep it a unique id
some of the author_name ids just will not work
cause the name could be 1
[18:18]
SketchCowIt's fine with the ID... just not the tittle
In fact I like it in the id
[18:20]
godaneok
issuu is still going be key word
if only for sorting these collections
i think only did the title like that cause i was keeping it sync with id
also IA by default will take the id and use it for title so i didn't see the issue
[18:21]
SketchCowThat's also fine
I can also write a script to yank it out of your titles
[18:25]

JAAMozilla will neuter collections on addons.mozilla.org (AMO) "soon-ish" according to their IRC. They've told me previously that collections will still exist, but they'll remove some features. I'll hopefully have time later this week to grab them. [21:57]
***tuluu has quit IRC (Quit: No Ping reply in 180 seconds.) [21:57]
JAAThere are currently two versions of AMO, the "classic desktop version" and a new design. I'll grab both if time permits. [21:57]
SketchCowgodane: Just set aside and mark as not working [21:57]
JAA(This is only about *collections* on AMO. I won't touch the actual addons, themes, etc.) [21:58]
***tuluu has joined #archiveteam-bs [21:59]
JAAOr maybe I will, we'll see.
The downloads are not urgent though.
Also, there's the ArchiveBot job, and Somebody2 grabbed many of them I believe (what's the status on that?).
Ping hook54321, see above regarding AMO collections.
