I've found that it's pretty easy for this to fill up in some things. Does anyone have any recommendations for either a similarly priced but more flexible provider, or a way to attach more disk to smaller specced servers at scaleway? [12:07] Digital Ocean? [12:07] I don't know scaleway's pricing [12:10] I can't even find it on their pricing list any more, but it's 2CPU, 2GB RAM, 50GB disk for €3,99/mo [12:12] are you running grab-site on it? [12:14] https://www.hetzner.com/cloud are good too [12:14] yeah, I was also running the newsgrabber. [12:14] Newsgrabber is huge. [12:14] so I discovered :) [12:15] i thought newsgrabber wasn't currently active? [12:15] actually, the console interface for scaleway suggests I can add more disk, which I thought it didn't allow last time I looked. [12:16] I might have to try that. [12:17] yano: I think it's semi active? you can run it manually or something. It was a little while ago that I tried. [12:17] yano it's not. [12:17] We killed off whilst we fix some issues [12:25] ah, gotcha [12:25] does newsgrabber focus on specific new sources? or any news articles? [12:26] i run ##news on freenode and i have the history of that channel going back years [12:26] it pulls in over 600+ rss feeds from world-wide news sources [12:30] oh, that's neat [12:31] It uses ~1,000 sources [12:31] Not just RSS [12:31] https://github.com/ArchiveTeam/NewsGrabber-Services [12:54] Igloo: cool [12:56] hm, i went to manually sign up for NewsGrabber and I get "Project code is out of date and needs to be upgraded. To remedy this problem immediately, you may reboot your warrior. Retrying after 170 seconds..." I rebooted the docker container and still the same thing, do I need to rebuild it? or is the tracker kind of on pause/hold? [12:56] Yeah, It's paused [12:56] So it won't issue anything until we fix some issues [12:57] gotcha [13:18] *** bluefoo has joined #archiveteam-ot [13:27] eythian: You can add more disk to a Scaleway server, but it's a separate volume that you then somehow need to merge together. And I believe you'll run into issues if you try to combine the primary and secondary volumes, so you might need to keep the primary one for just the base system and buy two or more secondary ones for the scripts dir. [13:28] JAA: yeah, I have no problem LVMing some volumes together, it was just that when I last looked you couldn't add volumes to the lower-end servers. This appears to not be the case now though.
