DFJustin: Agreed - I will make sure when I go hardcore in that direction, imaging will happen |

To be frank, I don't see the value with these shareware ones I'm ripping |

I want to start by saying thank you for making it possible to re-live my childhood from viewing old websites to playing my favorite retro games. That said I hate the MAME controls so much! Most games use ctrl, alt and arrows. When you press ctrl+alt+arrow in windows the screen freezes and rotates. |

Once you rotate back the game area because tiny. No one can play a game like this, it just makes people angry. Its really nice to see these old games but its like a sick joke because I can't play most of them without hitting the 3 buttons at once (sometimes well in to the game). |

If given access I would personally update the config files and game descriptions to use non-hotkeys and tell users how the buttons are defined. I hate poorly implemented technology, this is frustrating enough to make me want to avoid the entire archive.org site on principle. Please, fix this so I can continue enjoying and recommending archive.org to others. |

definitely can't rotate a screen with just a hotkey in x11 |

|
bai |
sure you can. I think ubuntu's unity has that enabled by default, it's done with xrandr |

DFJustin |
I think it's a third-party driver that does that and not stock windows |

mostly laptops yeah, but I think win8 or win10 may have added it natively |

never encountered it with stock win8 |

one of my coworkers at my last job discovered that functionality and for a couple months he'd do it to anyone who left their system unlocked (might even work when locked, not sure) |
