I've tried six different ways to make a 800k disk image boot in the Apple IIe emulator, and I'm sure I'm doing something wrong. [12:16] https://archive.org/details/19games_compilation_usotsuki [12:16] I tried it .dsk, obviously that blew up. Then read the source code, tried .po, that seems not to work. [12:16] I'm going to try a few more, in the theory the .800 format he made is some raw thing or another. [12:19] Going to try making it a IIgs and renaming it .dsk [12:32] Yeah, THAT worked. [14:11] *** balrog has joined #jsmess [15:57] so 800k disks are 3.5" so you need to install a different disk drive [15:58] the "apple2c0" model has a 3.5" drive built in but I don't know if it works in mame [16:02] would be faster than using a IIgs emulation [16:27] *** mta has quit IRC (hub.efnet.us irc.Prison.NET) [17:25] *** ted______ has quit IRC (Remote host closed the connection) [20:03] *** ted______ has joined #jsmess [21:01] *** mta has joined #jsmess [21:51] It's fine and working for now. [21:51] John is raring to go on looking at the environment [21:51] He thinks it's difficult (should not be downplayed as "low hanging fruit") but thinks it can be done. [21:51] I'm going to send him an e-mail "info pack" and cc you. [21:51] You can jump in with additional hints and suggestions. [22:21] *** taisel has joined #jsmess
