I read your post about the volume setting resetting to zero in the
archive.org emulator. The reason is that the volume setting is stored in
PRAM. This is the same bit of battery-backed memory that maintains the
date and time while the computer is turned off. PCE.js loads the
settings from a file on startup and saves the settings back to the file
on shutdown. So to fix the issue, you need to run PCE.js locally and
adjust the volume setting. Then shut down the emulator. And now your
pram settings are stored in the pram-mac-plus.dat file. You'll need to
configure the web-hosted emulator to use that new file that has the
correct volume setting configured.
