SgeoHi. Trying to get a game working on Internet Archive. It requires a CD, so I put the contents of the CD into a subdirectory in the ZIP and mounted /emulator/c/CD/ as a CDROM. But the loading screen is slow. Could that mount be causing a second network request?
AFK
[17:38]
baishouldn't be triggering another network request, no
what's the total size of the zip?
also, archive.org is apparently down right now due to a power outage which might explain some part of the slowness :D
[17:39]
SgeoI was trying it last night
400MB
AFK for real

db48xwhat's the item name? [19:39]
Sgeohttps://archive.org/details/stop-the-rock-live2
Using the ISO from https://archive.org/details/stop-the-rock
(Also I made a mistake in run.bat, it should be /emulator/c/CD not /emulator/c/cd, but not going to reupload right now
Also IA is down anyway

db48xlet's see
so far so good
looks fine
what was slow about it?
[20:24]
baiah, so when you mount the cd properly and re-run, you get the game's loading screen, and an uncaught SimulateInfiniteLoop [20:37]
SgeoWhere can you see that SimulateInfiniteLoop?
Also I hope it's acceptable I put the emularity win31 on the C drive, QuickTime needs to be installed for this game
[20:46]
baiin the js console, ctrl+shift+j in chrome or ctrl+shift+i in ff [20:54]
SgeoI also requested them on ClassicReload's FB page >.> [20:55]
