Trying to get a game working on Internet Archive. It requires a CD, so I put the contents of the CD into a subdirectory in the ZIP and mounted /emulator/c/CD/ as a CDROM. But the loading screen is slow. Could that mount be causing a second network request? [17:38] AFK [17:39] shouldn't be triggering another network request, no [17:39] what's the total size of the zip? [17:39] also, archive.org is apparently down right now due to a power outage which might explain some part of the slowness :D [17:42] I was trying it last night [17:43] 400MB [17:45] AFK for real [18:31] back [19:39] what's the item name? [19:46] https://archive.org/details/stop-the-rock-live2 [19:46] Using the ISO from https://archive.org/details/stop-the-rock [19:46] (Also I made a mistake in run.bat, it should be /emulator/c/CD not /emulator/c/cd, but not going to reupload right now [19:47] Also IA is down anyway [20:24] let's see [20:24] so far so good [20:26] looks fine [20:26] what was slow about it? [20:37] ah, so when you mount the cd properly and re-run, you get the game's loading screen, and an uncaught SimulateInfiniteLoop [20:46] Where can you see that SimulateInfiniteLoop? [20:48] Also I hope it's acceptable I put the emularity win31 on the C drive, QuickTime needs to be installed for this game [20:54] in the js console, ctrl+shift+j in chrome or ctrl+shift+i in ff [20:55] I also requested them on ClassicReload's FB page >.> [21:14] *** Ravenloft has joined #jsmess
