***: bwn has joined #jsmess SketchCow: Screenshotting continues to work, and I still get hit with weirdos on the thing, doing bad grabs.

Any idea how they're doing this? Vito`: it's loading from http://neptunjs.xyz db48x: badly; you get a blank page unless you allow it to load javascript from google analytics SketchCow: https://github.com/MoritzWillig/neptunjs
That's not confusing at all db48x: I don't think that's related, actually Vito`: I couldn't get an emu to load in Safari, just ads SketchCow: No, I mean, yes, that's definitely a different project.
Exact same name.
Urbain Jean Joseph Le Verrier is listed as the creator, but that's a long-dead french mathematician db48x: bah
it glitched right as I jumped, and the first goomba got me SketchCow: So, I found out about this because someone is leaving links on IA games pushing to their site
The reason being that neptunjs has a kind of ponzi scheme going.
You can use their site, as long as you let them take delicious ad money db48x: yea, I saw that SketchCow: the Jaguar emulator is more accurate than MAME
Anyway, don't mean to be too distracting. I am just intruiged when someone emulates multi-platform, and wonder how they do it.
Like, even if it's 5 insane Romanian coders blasting through, that's still a lot of work to make an emulator work
Less so to go "oh, it's faster", because I'm sure they're taking 1000x shortcuts db48x: it's similar enough to what we're doing
they're using emscripten to compile one emulator or another SketchCow: Yeah, I was definitely interested in how they did 3DO Vito`: I don't think it's one emulator, I think they're doing the libretro thing and just making them all have the same HTML-facing API ***: azakai has quit IRC (Quit: Ex-Chat)
