dd0a13f37Couldn't you use Tor if capacity becomes a problem?
Then you could get thousands of URLs per second per warrior

nebwsIs there an explaination why the hit rate of the wordpress shortener is so high? Like 90%. Are they running out of shortcodes? [16:44]
JAAThe short codes there are simply blog IDs. [16:44]
astridi don't know the details, but maybe they assign them sequentially? [16:44]
JAAYep
And almost no blogs were deleted, apparently.

Somebody2We're up to 11 million wordpress results found.
This is an ... interesting ... result: http://8eb04e7fd08f9857d707074c6af56ce3.wordpress.com/
Given that the total is in the range of 135 million, we should be done in a few days.
Well, maybe a few weeks.

JAAgsfn.us is a shortener for getsatisfaction.com. I haven't figured out all URL formats yet, but the main one appears to be /t/code with a 5-char 0-9a-z shortcode. Seemingly incremental, current threads are somewhere around 5????.
Unfortunately, resolving is a real nightmare. Here's an example: http://gsfn.us/t/2aoq7 -> http://getsatisfaction.com/t/2aoq7 -> https://getsatisfaction.com/t/2aoq7 -> http://getsatisfaction.com/stacey/topics/simulate_active_category_with_visible_list_and_hide_non_active_list -> https://getsatisfaction.com/stacey/topics/simulate_active_category_with_visible_list_and_hide_non_active_list -> http://retired.gets
atisfaction.com/
So it looks like gsfn.us simply maps to getsatisfaction.com, and the interesting step is the resolution of https://getsatisfaction.com/t/2aoq7 . But still, who the hell designed those redirects?
You can get the short URL for any thread as well by appending /tiny_url to the thread link, e.g. https://getsatisfaction.com/openclass/topics/open-class-shutdown-will-be-soon/tiny_url
