JAASomebody2: I've thought some more about hub.me. If I use a template "http://hub.me/a{shortcode}, the codes in the output files would be 0, 1, etc. rather than a0, a1, etc. Would that be a good idea?

We need to work on terroroftinytown's logging, by the way. "INFO:DefaultService:Got a result." is not very useful when multiple DefaultServices are running.
Ideally, it would simply print the short URL again.
It also doesn't log when the results have been sent to the tracker. A line "Tracker confirmed X results for PROJECT item RANGE" or so would be nice.
