00:34 🔗 VariXx has quit IRC (Quit: moo)
00:45 🔗 Flashfire enabled gouri.tv for a while
00:51 🔗 JAA Flashfire: One thing about reenabling old projects: if the shortener uses incremental codes, make sure to adjust the sequence number to avoid gaps in the data. Because the number in there is (normally) *not* the one of the last successful result but rather the last code that was attempted. Usually, we don't stop shorteners immediately after the last existing code was attempted, so it will run a bit further.
00:51 🔗 JAA On resuming the project, the sequence number therefore needs to be reset to the last known result, which you can get from the files on IA. At least that's what I did when I re-enabled wp-me recently; perhaps there is a better way, not sure.
00:52 🔗 Flashfire gouri.tv is a completly new project so no gaps there. Will be playing it safe with old projects for the moment until I get a bit more knowledge under my belt
00:55 🔗 JAA Yup, just wanted to let you know because it seems that it wasn't mentioned yesterday.
00:59 🔗 Flashfire Disabled x-co hadnt had any results for a while with it being marked as incremental figured I would stop it
01:29 🔗 Somebody2 all that sounds good!
01:30 🔗 Somebody2 and, JAA, thanks for mentioning the bit about checking for the last found response
01:30 🔗 Somebody2 not the last *tried*
01:49 🔗 Flashfire I found an alias for trib.al where should I add that to the wiki
01:49 🔗 Flashfire clckhl.co for reference
01:51 🔗 JAA Flashfire: I'd add it in the first column of that table. There's already another alias listed there, by the way.
01:51 🔗 Flashfire Alright then
01:51 🔗 JAA Maybe style it like the cases above though.
01:51 🔗 Flashfire https://linktr.ee/ looks like a short url but I dont think it is.
01:51 🔗 JAA I.e. "trib.al / gizmo.do / clckhl.co"
01:54 🔗 JAA Looks like linktr.ee is a link list, i.e. a page listing multiple links under a single short URL. terroroftinytown currently can't handle that.
01:55 🔗 Flashfire I could add it under an issue/suggestion
01:55 🔗 JAA Also, it doesn't use short codes but Instagram usernames apparently.
01:55 🔗 JAA E.g. https://linktr.ee/clothandcabin
01:56 🔗 Flashfire hmmmm
01:56 🔗 Flashfire Maybe I wont add it
01:56 🔗 Flashfire but its an interesting thing to consider
02:31 🔗 Somebody2 Flashfire: you should certainly mention linktr.ee on the wiki page, but maybe in a "weird link-shortnener-adjacent things" section.
02:41 🔗 Somebody2 Whoever is running under the name: IhatemyISP -- please check your setup; we're seeing an oddly high number of errors.
04:02 🔗 hook54321 has quit IRC (Quit: Connection closed for inactivity)
04:52 🔗 odemg has quit IRC (Ping timeout: 265 seconds)
05:04 🔗 odemg has joined #urlteam
06:59 🔗 Flashfire Stopped 2-gp as it was just grabbing the homepage
08:01 🔗 hook54321 has joined #urlteam
09:51 🔗 Flashfire Somebody2 is mysp-ac incremental
09:51 🔗 Flashfire if it is we should stop it
09:59 🔗 Flashfire going to restart piciurl-hu for a little while see if it gets anything
10:02 🔗 Flashfire stopped piciurl-hu again
10:09 🔗 Flashfire Has been over a year it may be fool hardy but I am going to run df4-us from single character up until 4 characters doing a complete rescan
15:10 🔗 IceMaster has joined #urlteam
16:17 🔗 IceMaster has quit IRC (Leaving)
17:47 🔗 Hani has quit IRC (Read error: Connection reset by peer)
17:47 🔗 Hani has joined #urlteam
18:29 🔗 Somebody2 Flashfire: thanks for the updates, all that makes sense
18:29 🔗 Somebody2 yeah, I'll stop mysp-ac
18:29 🔗 Somebody2 whoops, somethings got it stuck
18:30 🔗 Somebody2 looks like xco
18:31 🔗 Somebody2 Ah, the problem was -- when you disable a project, you probably also need to clear the queue.
18:32 🔗 Somebody2 Not always (which is why it's a separate step), but often.
18:34 🔗 Somebody2 For 2-gp, it just needed HTTP 302 moved from found to not-found.
18:34 🔗 Somebody2 I'm going to turn it back on
18:36 🔗 Somebody2 mysp-ac found something 5 hours ago; I'd still leave it running for another few days.
