Oh interesting, Seagate is releasing a new version of the Archive 8TB drive, now with 4 disks instead of 6 and therefore significantly reduced power consumption (5.3W operating vs. 7.5W per spec sheets). The new disk is called "Exos 5E8", model number ST8000AS0003. |
