Hi all! Had a question about the best way to backup my backups. By that I mean, I have yearly backups of the entire hard drive of every computer I've owned since 2005, but right now that data isn't what I'd consider "safe". |

It's on my NAS in software RAID 5, and that's it. I have all of what I consider "critical" data backed up properly (photos,videos,documents) are mirrored on google drive and an offsite cold backup. However all of my computer backups total about 1 TB in size, with about 4 million files and 1 million folders. |

I'm trying to figure out the best way to mirror all of this data to my Google Drive; given the number of files and subfolders would it make more sense to compress each backup into a single .xz or .lrz file, then upload that to GDrive, or will Google Drive be able to deal with the massive amount of files using the desktop app. |
