SiliconDust only does tuner cards so live TV. BlackMagic is professional so can be better quality but more complicated, I didn't find anything less that $200. So Hauppage is the closest. They had good Linux support, which may not be important to your scenario |

I'm not staying on top of it. Dazzle was popular a long time ago. Looks like it has a MPEG2 hardware encoder. The features needed will depend on whether there needs to be editing, what OS, how fast the CPU is, and what formats it's being uploaded in, where disk or network upload might limit some choices. |
