i figured i would be better to ask, even if it might get "Are you crazy!?" in response :D |

if it wasn't allowed, a big company like archive would prevent it |

is there a way to use the ia command tool to modify the "format" of a file in an item? Got an item where some files are detected to be audio and videos when they are not. |
16:23

ive tried the following: ia metadata 2813_d64_C64_roms_wwwC64com --target=Metal_Warrior_3.d64 --modify=format:Unknown |

but, it doesn't seem to make any difference, the file is still listed as 'DV Video' |

that command does report back 'success' (2813_d64_C64_roms_wwwC64com - success: blablablablaurl), and, it does seem to queue a task on the item. But after trying twice, i can't see any changes to the item page. |

CoolCanuk, i think i have have managed to cancel deletion tasks that were queed, by using "Change Files" . But not sure about a situation where the files are already deleted. |

archive.org said I deleted the files. No way I deleted 1300+ files by accident |

CoolCanuk, yeah, the files are Commodore 64 floppydisk formats, but 100+ files seem to have become incorrectly detected as either AAC or DV files. Not really a huge problem if it weren't for it causing derived audio files that are bogus. |

what kind of items does fit into Internet Archive? i mean, what emulated platforms are there. Or, are each item having to be individually tailored to run? |
