[00:01] *** RichardG_ has quit IRC (Read error: Operation timed out) [00:15] Thoughts on this Igloo? [00:16] Sorry it's 1AM i'm flagging [00:17] So the random.php outlinks to random websites? [00:17] No, unfortunately it goes to one link~ :/ [00:17] http://deerme.comicgenesis.com/ and only that [00:17] Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh [00:18] Unauthorized access. [00:18] KeenSpace Guide is hosted on Keenspace, a free webhosting and site automation service for webcomics. [00:18] So yeah that's well broken. [00:20] I have a list of domains. [00:20] There are many. [00:20] MANY. domains. [00:20] Any idea where you got it from? [00:20] There's apparently an older version of the website, which is comicgen.com [00:21] Got it from looking at the archive version of their wiki: https://web.archive.org/web/20150906125909/http://cgwiki.comicgenesis.com/index.php?title=Comic:Artist%27s_Block [00:22] https://hackertarget.com/find-dns-host-records/ [00:24] That seems to be a sampling though, unless you paid for such an access oo; [00:25] Yeah but it gives an idea [00:25] 2072 subdomains alone. [00:27] Ok, I guess leave it with us for now. [00:28] https://www.google.com/search?q=site:comicgenesis.com+-www [00:32] Would you like some SONAR data? [00:32] *** kiska sets mode: +o Igloo [00:32] Google has 300 or so. [00:32] Sure kiska [00:33] FDNS? [00:34] comicgenesis.com [00:35] This one has '15,700' results: https://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=site%3A*.comicgenesis.com [00:35] While has around 2,270 results: https://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=site%3A*.comicgen.com [00:38] I'm downloading all of the DNS data. [00:39] I can compare the sources. See the number, and then work out how the heck to do it. [00:44] *** godane has quit IRC (Read error: Connection reset by peer) [00:53] I believe some comics may possibly have custom domains, not 100% sure on that one though [01:07] *** wyatt8740 has quit IRC (Read error: Operation timed out) [01:07] Hmm, it seems to be leaning towards just the custom domain being a redirect to the Comic Genesis comic website: http://forums.comicgenesis.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=89537&p=1536965&hilit=custom+domain [01:08] *** wyatt8740 has joined #archiveteam-bs [01:09] Some info on how domain names work, unsure if there's any more clarifying~ https://web.archive.org/web/20060623040041/http://cgwiki.comicgenesis.com/index.php/Domain_Names [01:17] Huh, hey, this is interesting, something to maybe look into on finding goodies maybe? You use MP4 (mov) for the archivability ubiquity of playback, not because of the way Firefox or Archive.org behaves. [23:11] You're supposed to know how to right-click a link to save it as a file, and left-click a link to playback media. [23:12] Firefox is just doing its job as described in the documentation. [23:13] If your mouse doesn't have a right-button, then try tap-n-hold. [23:15] (using mkv for the reasons you outlined would be rather more asinine than just naming the files video.mp4.downloadme) [23:18] *** Dj-Wawa has joined #archiveteam-bs [23:20] *** Dj-Wawa has quit IRC (Read error: Connection timed out) [23:21] *** Dj-Wawa has joined #archiveteam-bs [23:22] *** kiska has quit IRC (Remote host closed the connection) [23:22] *** Flashfire has quit IRC (Remote host closed the connection) [23:22] *** Flashier has quit IRC (Remote host closed the connection) [23:22] *** Flashier has joined #archiveteam-bs [23:22] *** kiska has joined #archiveteam-bs [23:22] *** Flashfire has joined #archiveteam-bs [23:22] *** Fusl sets mode: +o kiska [23:22] Raccoon: i normally don't have this problem cause my default codec was mpeg2 [23:23] but this hd capture does it as mp4 that i then have to combine anyways to make it one file [23:23] i also have to put it in 4:3 resolution also [23:24] the software everyone uses to finalize video in Windows is Handbrake, or just commandline ffmpeg [23:24] so me combined the mp4, making the 4:3, and putting them in mkv [23:25] this hd capture allow me not use my computing in the raw capture [23:25] i recommend getting familiar with ffmpeg before starting any batch process [23:26] save you a lot of heart ache [23:27] i'm trying to not use my computer with capturing cause i have been have weird usb bandwidth problem [23:27] Raccoon : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZC5Zr3NC2PY [23:28] i got the hardware from that [23:31] anyways i have been using ffmpeg to make my captures but was only doing mpeg2 before [23:32] doing mpeg4 in ffmpeg cause to much cpu work [23:32] mp4 isn't "mpeg4" [23:33] *** BlueMax has joined #archiveteam-bs [23:35] *** Jens has quit IRC (Remote host closed the connection) [23:35] *** Jens has joined #archiveteam-bs [23:40] Raccon : mediainfo to one of the files : https://pastebin.com/bWhF89tZ [23:42] ^Raccoon
