greetings all. What flavour of Linux does the warrior run? |

I think it uses the GNU userland |

hmm, well it seems that my sound problem may be on my host. The host looses sound when I start up any other VM but the warrior one. The VMs have sound....off to learn how to get sound to work... |

there's a bug in Ubuntu (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/virtualbox-ose/+bug/202957) about this, maybe VBox's ALSA driver still does the same thing as it did back then |

I know Debian isn't Ubuntu, but that bug isn't Ubuntu-specific |

sound works in VM, any VM....it's the host that dies. Something is shutting it down. I have noticed that I suddenly now have a volume control, coulnd't get it before. |
