Wii / DS / DSi online games are no longer going to be playable online with other people. I'd like to capture a bunch of network traffic for as many games as possible. Any advice? I assume someone (maybe not Archiveteam) has done something similar, ex. for Xbox Live [original] or PS2 games. http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=776045 |

Well, someone has done it in the past. I may be in the wrong place, but this group is the first thing I thought of. |

maybe you can try to get in touch with emulator devs and see what kind of things can be done |

a third party sort of system would be sweet to relive some of the old games |

i'm not sure what i'm talking about, but i'd see if there was a software based solution that can drive games to create as much traffic as possible |

don't shoot me if I'm mistaken, but wouldn't the use of wireshark work to do so? |

i'd assume the overall protocol is encrypted so you might need to do a some interception before it jumps to the network |

But it doesn't suck, it's what should be in the standard python library instead of the current abominations (urllib, urllib2). |
