a layman asked why i cared about saving original copies of a proprietary image format, when i could just keep the exports. incidentally, this person does not understand the difference between jpeg and png, for example, and seems to think that by changing the file extension of a jpeg file to “png”, image quality somehow improves. in other words, that's their level of understanding. |
