I just started iabak for the first time and it works fine. FYI, my setup is to have the git-repo on an SSD, and the shard directory bind-mounted from a network drive (cephfs) [11:06] I first tried to have the git repo itself on the network drive, but git performs really badly because of the latency [11:26] yeah dont put git on network drives, i used to do that for wiki.opennic.org, took around 15-20 minutes to enumerate all files every time it kicked off a repo sync [11:38] hmm, looks like that CPU is getting killed by git-annex (unsurprisingly, that's a 3€/month ARM server) [16:25] *** chferfa has joined #internetarchive.bak [21:51] *** ivan has quit IRC (Leaving) [21:52] *** ivan has joined #internetarchive.bak [21:55] *** ivan has quit IRC (Client Quit) [21:57] *** ivan has joined #internetarchive.bak [22:35] 03registrar 05master dfc1d70 06other 10SHARD22/pubkeys registration of progval+iabak on SHARD22 [22:37] 03registrar 05master 7301560 06other 10SHARD21/pubkeys registration of progval+iabak on SHARD21 [22:37] 03registrar 05master f8cc432 06other 10SHARD23/pubkeys registration of progval+iabak on SHARD23 [22:42] 03registrar 05master e28c98f 06other 10SHARD21/pubkeys registration of progval+iabak on SHARD21 [22:54] hmm [22:54] I had some issue running iabak on a different host [22:54] I had to manually apply this to the shard's git config: http://git-annex.branchable.com/bugs/git-annex_addurl___38___CDN__58___curl_does_not_follow/#comment-e9160ab210b2a13a7e021e62f7bc0741 [22:54] otherwise it refuses to download from the web remote
