also the author of hackerfactor.com/blog/ has found archive.org bots get into infinite loops when archiving his site so he blocked access via a robots.txt. Archive.is archives pages fine so not sure if there's anything archive.org could do better or if it's exclusively his end. |

Specular (if you read public logs) -- you can get a "special exclusion" from the Wayback Machine merely by emailing info@archive.org and asking for one. IA has been quite clear that they do not intend to distribute material whose legal owners have asked them not to distribute it. |
