I often upload with --no-derive to prevent unnecessary copying while the uploads are still running (cf. https://github.com/jjjake/internetarchive/issues/288 ) and it would be convenient to be able to start the derive from the terminal after everything's fine instead of having to log in and click my way through the [19:08] labyrinth that is IA's item editing interface. [19:18] JAA: no idea how to do it properly but 'copy as curl' in Chrome/Firefox devtools Network tab may be a useful hack [19:19] as in, make the request in the browser and see what request it makes [19:34] ivan: Yeah right, will do that and write a script for it probably. [20:19] So it's a POST to https://archive.org/manage/IDENTIFIER with data identifier=IDENTIFIER&admin=derive . I don't see anything in the ia repo that looks like this, FWIW. Needs the two cookies as well (logged-in-user and logged-in-sig).
