Did you get what you needed done, ... [05:38] or were you reporting something that could be improved? [10:17] I initially resorted to email because I was running into a weird bug in the ia client. When uploading to an item that's already past the 1 TB limit, you're supposed to get an error message. However, if the file is large and takes more than 30 seconds to upload, the connection just gets closed or something, and you get a huge traceback that provides no hints as to why [10:18] That bug is already reported on GitHub, so nothing to do there. Jeff told me to just split my item, which is less than ideal, but... fine, whatever [10:19] I only have about 5 things over 1 TB, so it's less hassle to just deal with them myself rather than ask IA to set up special shit for me [11:17] New problem: I can't delete files from my item that is over the size limit. Why. [11:20] I can't even delete files with the "don't keep a copy in the history" header, or history files directly [11:58] *** Phoen1x has quit IRC (Read error: Connection reset by peer) [12:06] *** Stilett0 has quit IRC () [12:13] *** Phoen1x has joined #internetarchive [13:32] *** ats has quit IRC (Ping timeout: 252 seconds) [14:00] *** swebb has quit IRC (Read error: Operation timed out) [14:01] *** swebb has joined #internetarchive [14:38] *** ats has joined #internetarchive [15:40] *** ats has quit IRC (Read error: Operation timed out) [16:04] *** ats has joined #internetarchive [18:49] Wait, why do you need to further touch the over-1TB-items at all? Just update the description to point at the corrected ones, and leave them alone.
