So many items not working. [16:05] such as? [16:06] *** DopefishJ is now known as DFJustin [16:07] OK, all Midway [16:07] There's two levels [16:07] First, we updated Emscripten [16:07] Now it's bloated as hell (the binaries are 25mb before compression) and we hit issues [16:07] But, like, the Midways have all stopped working. Tapper, RBtapper, etc. [16:07] Others have similar reports. [16:07] Outrun obviously [16:08] In some cases, for months [16:11] gonna try bisecting outrun but it'll take a while [16:13] I'm more concerned about midway [16:13] Because those are the entire family [16:13] Everything [16:13] Dies during checking [16:13] And I think this is all related [16:14] I think the Emscripten update blew things up [16:14] Except we treated it like we were going from x.x instead of from 1.x to 2.x [16:14] As not unexpected, db is very busy now. IA will use every drop of him [16:14] Except of course they don't prioritize the software thing [16:16] I would guess something in mame rather than emscripten but I'll find out soon [16:17] the last several of these have turned out to be on the mame side [16:18] emscripten is pretty stable these days [16:21] http://rbelmont.mameworld.info/?p=1354 [16:23] *** kripken has joined #jsmess [16:28] Good news there [16:29] Well, except emscripten changed and now my screenshotter has stopped dead. [16:29] It does tell me we're probably going to have to limit upgrading to MAME current maybe to 1 or 2 times a year. [17:10] I know there's better ways to do this, but maybe I'll just do a google sheet [23:18] tapper is a different issue, on the mame side between 0.200 and 0.205 [23:50] outrun is mame side, between 0.199 and 0.200 (which is bad, that's probably the memory system rewrite)
