when I tried it recently it failed with current emscripten which using the new "upstream" backend but it worked with older emscripten 1.38.48 |

so if the goal is just to get a build of newer mame you can probably rollback the emscripten and do that |

I suspect the issue is that the exception whitelisting needs to be done in a different place with upstream but the obvious fix didn't work |
