[02:00] Oddly enough all scrapers are unbanned now. Must be a new thing [21:42] Keep on me about the DNS. [21:42] I just swapped over a billion domains from Godaddy - took a lot out of me. [22:31] SketchCow: As I said above, site is ready, just change either the dns servers or just the a records [22:31] Ok, site is up, you can either set the nameservers to "ns.phx5.nearlyfreespeech.net" and "ns.phx8.nearlyfreespeech.net" [22:31] Or you simply set A records for the domain to "208.94.116.190", "208.94.116.60" and "208.94.117.92" and a cname from www.urlte.am to "urlteam.nfshost.com" [22:32] Doing some archeological shit with tr.im. Eric Woodward did some stupid shit in there. If the shortcode was auto-generated, it was case-sensitive. If it was a "custom" shortcode, it was case-insensitive [22:33] So if a user said "Redirect http://tr.im/FUCK to google, it would also redirect http://tr.im/fuck to google" [22:33] But when suddenly the code "fuck" was assigned by the system, "trim/fuck would redirect elsewhere" [22:34] And because swebb and I did our scrape about a year apart, we get different results for the same codes [23:35] Now that's sad. [23:46] Well there is also the issue with some urls being randomly truncated, and this was not an issue with the scraping process since sometimes swebb's scrape has the shorter url, sometimes mine has the shorter url [23:49] ahhhh fuck tr.im [23:51] Hehe I imported everything into an sqlite db and am trying to sort it out with the magic help of triple self joins
