cechk01: yep, they are normal-ish. 404 from the tracker just means what it says -- no available items. The tracker admins (i.e. me, arkiver and chfoo, although I'm the most active lately) set specific numbers of available items for each project -- and if all of them are assigned out, you'll get 404. If it happens a bunch, let me know, and I can see about increasing the queue on some of the projects. |

530 error likely means the tracker is having trouble handling the load -- I've noticed this too, I'm trying to figure out exactly why. |

(copied from #archivebot, for the sake of the logs) phuzion: I don't think anyone has written a script, but I did share my hacked together shell commands -- check the chat logs. |

if/when you find where I mentioned the shell commands, dump a link here. Or I may search for them eventually. |

there's a lot of traffic coming to the tracker and it was being slow on IO so i put a nginx rate limit to make using the admin more bearable |
03:38
🔗
|
JesseW |
ah, makes sense. I'd noticed using the admin was generating a lot of timeouts. |

Is the lot of traffic coming to the non-urlteam part of the tracker, or am I running too many projects at once. :-) |

if it gets too slow, switching to postgres instead of sqlite and redis instead of a python dict might be better |
