[00:34] *** VariXx has quit IRC (Quit: moo) [00:45] enabled gouri.tv for a while [00:51] Flashfire: One thing about reenabling old projects: if the shortener uses incremental codes, make sure to adjust the sequence number to avoid gaps in the data. Because the number in there is (normally) *not* the one of the last successful result but rather the last code that was attempted. Usually, we don't stop shorteners immediately after the last existing code was attempted, so it will run a bit further. [00:51] On resuming the project, the sequence number therefore needs to be reset to the last known result, which you can get from the files on IA. At least that's what I did when I re-enabled wp-me recently; perhaps there is a better way, not sure. [00:52] gouri.tv is a completly new project so no gaps there. Will be playing it safe with old projects for the moment until I get a bit more knowledge under my belt [00:55] Yup, just wanted to let you know because it seems that it wasn't mentioned yesterday. [00:59] Disabled x-co hadnt had any results for a while with it being marked as incremental figured I would stop it [01:29] all that sounds good! [01:30] and, JAA, thanks for mentioning the bit about checking for the last found response [01:30] not the last *tried* [01:49] I found an alias for trib.al where should I add that to the wiki [01:49] clckhl.co for reference [01:51] Flashfire: I'd add it in the first column of that table. There's already another alias listed there, by the way. [01:51] Alright then [01:51] Maybe style it like the cases above though. [01:51] https://linktr.ee/ looks like a short url but I dont think it is. [01:51] I.e. "trib.al / gizmo.do / clckhl.co" [01:54] Looks like linktr.ee is a link list, i.e. a page listing multiple links under a single short URL. terroroftinytown currently can't handle that. [01:55] I could add it under an issue/suggestion [01:55] Also, it doesn't use short codes but Instagram usernames apparently. [01:55] E.g. https://linktr.ee/clothandcabin [01:56] hmmmm [01:56] Maybe I wont add it [01:56] but its an interesting thing to consider [02:31] Flashfire: you should certainly mention linktr.ee on the wiki page, but maybe in a "weird link-shortnener-adjacent things" section. [02:41] Whoever is running under the name: IhatemyISP -- please check your setup; we're seeing an oddly high number of errors. [18:32] Not always (which is why it's a separate step), but often. [18:34] For 2-gp, it just needed HTTP 302 moved from found to not-found. [18:34] I'm going to turn it back on [18:36] mysp-ac found something 5 hours ago; I'd still leave it running for another few days.
