What is the URL shortener most used by the warrior actually ? [18:19] archiveteam doesn't use url shorteners, do you mean the one that we request the most expansions from? [19:06] *** marked1 has quit IRC (The Lounge - https://thelounge.chat) [19:15] *** marked1 has joined #urlteam [19:45] Yes Astrid this is what I wanted to ask [19:46] *** yano_ is now known as yano [19:47] steve: bitly [19:47] see https://tracker.archiveteam.org:1338/status [19:56] thanks [19:58] Does the already scanned links are re-checked sometimes ? If the short url is attributed after the scan [20:37] steve, I was told, no, there is not a rescan, at least not yet. The search space is big. But I guess you could submit the url to IA WBM SPN when SPN is working [20:46] woot! I'm finally in the top 1000 on the leaderboard. The slope gets steep fast. [21:00] I haven't checked my position in a while. [21:00] I'm not running many workers though [21:12] looks like i'm just in the top 500, first time i've checked [21:13] *** Wingy has quit IRC (Read error: Operation timed out) [21:24] it seems silly increasing my worker count since at any given time, only one or two of them seem to have an item. [21:29] there is no point increasing worker count as there is a limit/throttling by the tracker per public ip address [21:29] This is to stop your ip from being banned by the URL shortner services [21:29] I figured that was the case. [21:29] yup [21:29] :) [21:30] it'd be neat if warrior / the tracker could take advantage of some ipv6 space. I could easily get a new ip for each worker in the same /48 that my isp gives me. some of the shorteners are likely ipv6 enabled. [21:31] or if I get bored, I could spin up a bunch of droplets one day. [21:32] Yeah i did ask about ipv6 support but the tracker does not support it currently. [21:32] Droplets would be your best next bet [21:33] I'm not sure if warrior is smart enough to run multiple projects at once, but that'd be nice too. [21:33] atphoenix "But I guess you could submit the url to IA WBM SPN when SPN is working" I did'nt understand a chunk of this haha !
