18:19 🔗 astrid hm what do you mean steve?
18:19 🔗 astrid archiveteam doesn't use url shorteners, do you mean the one that we request the most expansions from?

19:45 🔗 steve Yes Astrid this is what I wanted to ask
19:46 🔗 yano_ is now known as yano
19:47 🔗 Alistair steve: bitly
19:47 🔗 Alistair see https://tracker.archiveteam.org:1338/status
19:56 🔗 steve thanks
19:58 🔗 steve Does the already scanned links are re-checked sometimes ? If the short url is attributed after the scan
20:37 🔗 atphoenix steve, I was told, no, there is not a rescan, at least not yet. The search space is big. But I guess you could submit the url to IA WBM SPN when SPN is working
20:46 🔗 atphoenix woot! I'm finally in the top 1000 on the leaderboard. The slope gets steep fast.
21:00 🔗 prq I haven't checked my position in a while.
21:00 🔗 prq I'm not running many workers though
21:12 🔗 Kagee looks like i'm just in the top 500, first time i've checked
21:13 🔗 Wingy has quit IRC (Read error: Operation timed out)
21:24 🔗 prq it seems silly increasing my worker count since at any given time, only one or two of them seem to have an item.
21:29 🔗 Datechnom there is no point increasing worker count as there is a limit/throttling by the tracker per public ip address
21:29 🔗 Datechnom This is to stop your ip from being banned by the URL shortner services
21:29 🔗 prq I figured that was the case.
21:29 🔗 prq yup
21:29 🔗 Datechnom :)
21:30 🔗 prq it'd be neat if warrior / the tracker could take advantage of some ipv6 space. I could easily get a new ip for each worker in the same /48 that my isp gives me. some of the shorteners are likely ipv6 enabled.
21:31 🔗 prq or if I get bored, I could spin up a bunch of droplets one day.
21:32 🔗 Datechnom Yeah i did ask about ipv6 support but the tracker does not support it currently.
21:32 🔗 Datechnom Droplets would be your best next bet
21:33 🔗 prq I'm not sure if warrior is smart enough to run multiple projects at once, but that'd be nice too.
21:33 🔗 steve atphoenix "But I guess you could submit the url to IA WBM SPN when SPN is working" I did'nt understand a chunk of this haha !
