Every time I try to start up the warrior vm it gets stuck at preparing data partition, 30 or so tries and still same thing, any ideas |

n00b813: it's a known issue. have you deleted the image and imported it again? |

unfortunately we don't know why it gets stuck. if you can figure it out, let us know |

If you pop over to root access at super user stack exchange people in their are usually willing and have the time to run over a buggy os and even rewrite it on the fly for you |

I have noticed one thing, rather than freezing up, it seems to be bottle necking with the formatting of the partition, perhaps because it is set as dynamic and not fixed |

if you leave it long enough to see the partition increase in size by about 7mb every 20 mins or so |

Just tried something, deleting the partition that came with the application and replacing it with a bigger one got me 96mb in about 10 seconds |

Going to try fixed size now see what happens |

Same thing again, whoever, if just 1 person, wrote warrior should pop over to stackexchange and possible the super user chat root access for help going over it, obviously it is just a coding error somewhere and if a few people took the time to go over it would solve a lot of problems |

i'll let omf_ know since omf_ was the last person to look at it |

Alright, if he drops by root access tell him to ask for hennes, journeymangeek and quixotic, they are most likely to be there and help, although chances are it wont show them there until they drop a message |

bob, oliver, slhck, sathya, kronos, psycogeek would be able to help but are there a third of the time those 3 are |

Out of curiousity, do you occasionally have the warrior archive sites that seem to be stagnating or almost dying, just haven't made an announcement yet when there's nothing for the warrior to do, at a low priority so as soon as something does hit the fan, it immediately switches to the important task? |
12:44
🔗
|
ersi |
Yes, we sometimes have projects that archive sites that are just "suspicious" |
12:46

Neato. Can't wait to see the warrior start up when it's needed :) |
12:47

Usually it's not all that much action watching the GUI, I try to "set it and forget it" :) But sometimes it'll be exciting watching project leaderboards and what not |

:p graphs man! GRAPHS! |
12:49
🔗
|
ersi |
Well, the warrior UI provides only one graph - which is the bandwidth graph, and that's the most boring one IMO |
12:50

Pichu0202 |
Kinda wish the warrior had a little more stuff like a lifetime stats page, but I suppose whatpulse's per app bandwidth meter will do. |
12:51

multiple projects would be nice :p |

Does whatpulse properly measure bandwidth usage of virtualbox? |

Feel free to jot down suggestions to improve the warrior in either the wiki or the GitHub project by the way. |
12:53

There's currently no development on the Warrior itself. Only on projects though. |

I know blip.tv does - but AFAIK it's currently on hold |
12:56
🔗
|
ersi |
And #blooper.tv is the specific project channel for that project (Many channels.. I know.. :) But that way it's easier to keep topics seperate and get things done) |
12:57

bauruine |
ersi, ok. |

|
Pichu0202 |
Hmm, yeah, seems like whatpulse doesn't see Virtualbox network traffic. Dang. |
13:10
🔗
|
Pichu0202 |
Actually, it seems to see traffic on virtualbox, but mistakenly thinks it's avast doing the network traffic. Tested with a linux mint VM I had lying around on my PC. That's weird. |

will warrior update the projects automaticly when new are available? |

the projects like Gamespy arent on warrior, will they be added? |
18:28
🔗
|
chfoo |
i think gamespy was done manually, puush and zapd could be in the warrior but there's already enough people helping |
19:29
🔗

M1das: We don't add all projects to the Warrior. Only those who are suitable. |
