[00:05] Does it help to run a warrior with a vpn? [00:07] Last I heard it was against the rules [00:28] Alright, will avoid :) [01:32] *** VADemon has joined #warrior [03:14] *** ShellyRol has quit IRC (Read error: Connection reset by peer) [03:16] *** ShellyRol has joined #warrior [04:01] *** ShellyRol has quit IRC (Read error: Connection reset by peer) [04:03] *** ShellyRol has joined #warrior [04:08] *** arkiver has quit IRC (Read error: Operation timed out) [04:09] *** Wingy has quit IRC (Read error: Operation timed out) [04:14] *** DogsRNice has quit IRC (Read error: Connection reset by peer) [04:14] *** ShellyRol has quit IRC (Read error: Operation timed out) [04:14] *** ShellyRol has joined #warrior [04:16] *** arkiver has joined #warrior [04:17] *** Wingy has joined #warrior [04:57] *** kiska18 has quit IRC (Read error: Operation timed out) [04:57] *** asdf0101 has quit IRC (Read error: Operation timed out) [04:59] *** kiska18 has joined #warrior [05:01] *** asdf0101 has joined #warrior [05:12] My warrior said it needed an update, retrying 300 seconds. I tried the reboot suggestion: looks like warriorhq.archiveteam.org is overloaded with requests at the moment. (I assume it is a self-solving problem unless a deliberate DOS by a certain internet company.) [05:15] ...worksforme. [05:17] I should stop watching it: "Phooey… No warrior projects are available for participation yet!" [05:27] the server seems to be having some unusual issues. i can't connect to diagnose [05:28] That is not a good sign I assume it can handle Fusl's swarm no problem? [05:29] Wait, he uses scripts, not the warrior. [05:39] #down-the-tube is hitting it hard [05:49] yes, the work units seem to go by very fast. [05:58] my warrior is downloading Youtube playlists again. [05:59] 200 hits in 2 mins, then: "No HTTP response received from tracker. The tracker is probably overloaded. Retrying after 60 seconds..." [06:02] Tracker probably died... again :D [06:03] well, I got 2 more work units since I posted that. [06:04] er 1 more+ 1 rsnyc start. As it is I have to switch to a project to see the link, and then discover there is no work going on there, and switch back [14:24] *** VADemon has quit IRC (Read error: Connection reset by peer) [14:25] *** VADemon has joined #warrior [15:57] *** Jamesatja has joined #warrior [15:57] *** Jamesatja has quit IRC (Read error: Connection reset by peer) [18:19] alternatively / additionally just list current in-flight and to do under each project, so you don't even have to click the link. [18:20] Not sure if this is possible with the current warrior / tracker. [18:52] It has always seemed odd to offer projects that have not had work for months. I suppose if there are only 1-2 active projects at time (always urlteam, somethimes something else), I could just use the Warrior recommendation, but recently it leaves me twiddling my thumbs on a stalled project [19:04] the problem is AT choice is that it's usually defaulted to urlteam [19:04] people see that they're not doing much, and end up spinning up hundreds of threads [19:04] once we then switch to a real project, they suddenly claim tons of jobs, then crash and burn [19:14] any home fires yet? [22:33] my machine is pre-heated with primality testing. Crawling probably cools it down by evicting the cache.
